COVID-19 TESTING

PCR Test

The PCR test (a nasopharyngeal swab) most accurately – with the accuracy of 97% - diagnoses the COVID-19 disease. This test is more sensitive than the rapid antigen test and is most appropriate and most reliable for identifying the asymptomatic individuals.

A PCR test performed in Šeškinė Out-patient Clinic costs 42.28 EUROS. You must schedule an appointment online at https://e.poliklinika.lt/ or by dialling 8 5 250 2000.

An EU Certificate of the PCR Testing and its Result is generated and becomes available in the e-Health Portal www.esveikata.lt in the period of 24 hours. If needed, a PCR Testing Certificate is issued for the travellers in our Out-patient Clinic (upon request).

The PCR tests are performed in Room 112A of our Out-patient Clinic. You can enter the room straight from the underground passage side of Ukmergė Street.

IMOPORTANT: the PCR tests are performed free-of-charge only to the patients of Šeškinė Out-patient Clinic who are referred by the Doctors of Infectious Diseases.

COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test

The rapid antigen test is used to screen for the COVID-19 infection in individuals. The biggest advantage of this test is getting the results in 15 min.

An EU Certificate of the COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Testing and its Result is generated and becomes available in the e-Health Portal www.esveikata.lt in the period of 4 hours at the latest. If needed, a Rapid Antigen Testing Certificate is issued for the travellers in our Out-patient Clinic (upon request).

Interpretation of the antigen test results:

POSITIVE – this result means that SARS-CoV-2 viral antigens are detected in the sample, and the person is infected with the virus.

NEGATIVE - this result means that SARS-CoV-2 viral antigens are not detected in the sample, and the person is not infected with the virus or the level of the viral antigens is too low to be detected by the test. If a negative result is received, we recommend performing a COVID-19 PCR test.

A rapid antigen test costs 14.63 EUROS. You must schedule an appointment online at https://e.poliklinika.lt/ or by dialling 8 5 250 2000.

The rapid antigen tests are performed in Room 112A of our Out-patient Clinic. You can enter the room straight from the underground passage side of Ukmergė Street.

IMOPORTANT: the PCR tests are performed free-of-charge only to the patients of Šeškinė Out-patient Clinic who are referred by the Doctors of Infectious Diseases.

COVID-19 Antibody Test

A quantitative antibody test costs 16.14 EUROS. You must schedule an appointment online at https://e.poliklinika.lt/ or by dialling 8 5 250 2000.

A COVID-19 Antibody Testing Certificate is automatically generated and becomes available in the e-Health Portal www.esveikata.lt in the period of 24 hours.
